We had an amazing experience moving between homes locally. The service was amazing. They arrived on time, flew through packing up and loading up our stuff. The crew was amazing. All 4 of them laughed at the challenge of moving our stuff rom a 4 level townhome (lots of stairs), I know I would have groaned. The crew was laughing and joking with each other the whole time. They did an amazing job of packing up everything (way better than I would have done) from our heavy furniture to our 65" TV that I didn't have a box for. They moved through our old and new home with great care. Zero marks on walls or our stuff on both ends of the process.I gave them a pretty detailed list of items for the original quote, which can and will change as you do pay by the hour. That said, with a good list and an amazing team, they nailed the quoted hours so our fee matched the quote amount. I was very impressed.

Ricky and his crew did an amazing job! We had a 3 story, 3 bedroom townhome in Lincoln Park with 2 very narrow set of stairs that they navigated with our large furniture flawlessly. I saw them go out of their way to keep things clean, work quickly, and ensure all is exactly the way we wanted it to be. Our move was an hour away to the burbs in Chicago traffic and their ability to unload so fast was wonderful. They cared for our floors throughout both homes to ensure no damage was made and the crew was super polite and attentive. I would highly recommend Good Move Movers. I have used them twice now and had great experiences both times. I had previously used another company a few times but they raised their prices significantly. I found Good Move to be reasonably priced and their level of service was exceptional. I dealt with Chris both times and he was very helpful. I provided details for what I needed to move and they were able to give me an estimate very quickly.For my recent move, I scheduled about 4 weeks in advance and got the date I specifically wanted. However, I found out last minute that my driveway was being redone and would be inaccessible on my chosen moving date. They were very understanding and able to reschedule me to another date on shorter notice.Both times I used them the movers they sent were very polite and handled all of my items with care. For my recent move, I had Ricky and his team. I appreciated how hard they all worked and when they were finished, they made sure everything was where I wanted it. Both times they took less time than I was quoted so the price stayed on the low end of their estimate.I am hoping I will not be moving again anytime soon but if I ever need to, I know I would use Good Move again!

Our job consisted of internal moving and hauling out trash. From the basement they hauled out an old 500-lb upright piano, a large solid oak library card catalog, a large metal desk, and a pile of miscellaneous trash. Then they cleared out a pile of lumber and drywall from the crawlspace, and moved a wooden chest upstairs. After that, they moved 30 large plastic storage bins to the basement. Manny, Keshawn and Martin were very well-organized, professional, careful and personable. And since they worked so quickly and efficiently, the final invoice was $400 less than the original quote. We definitely recommend this company and will use them again.

My father recently suffered a terriblestroke and on top of all the stress related to his health, my parents had to move to a new ADA apartment in their building. Good Movers was recommended by the building (Roosevelt at Salt Creek, Elmhurst, IL), they were very familiar with the building, and they were willing to accommodate having to work around elevator availability (after 3pm). They communicated very well and they were very easy to work with throughout the process. On move day they showed up on time, treated my parents belongings with respect, didn’t break or damage anything, and nothing got lost. Very friendly crew!
